On the left there are two scopes of an electrical pulse. The first scope on the left is a standard pulse from a coil with no iBOOSTER fitted. The second scope below is a scope showing the electrical pulse from the coil with the iBOOSTER fitted. The electrical pulse is similar to the heart beat that you see on a hospital monitor. Therefore in your ignition system the only time your spark is ignited is the first up and down, once the line crosses the center line the spark has effectively gone out, this means that the ending squiggle is purely wasted electricity, or wasted energy. With the iBOOSTER fitted, the shape or signature of the electrical pulse is changed, and the wasted energy is used to produce a much longer and stronger spark.

What does the iBOOSTER spark do for your engine? In the perfect world your engine is already designed to perform at its best. In unique situations it is capable of doing just that, as long as your fuel quality is perfect, there is the right atmospheric pressure, your jetting is spot on, your air filter is clean and not over oiled, there is a consistent load on the engine and your engine is motionless. If all these conditions are met, your engine will perform at 100%. For all the other situations there is the iBOOSTER. The iBOOSTER basically burns though the inconsistency's and helps your engine to do what it should be doing: clean, consistent, perfect burn.

In a Racing environment, the higher compression motors have a tendency to blow out the spark under a heavy load. This can happen on an uphill, exiting corners, faces of jumps, landing from jumps, any where the engine is having to really pull. The iBOOSTER gives the spark enough strength to ignite the fuel/air mixture under these extreme conditions
